IoT Is Navigating In Our Lives To Improve Our Future

The navigation and control of Internet of things in our lives is undeniably making a strong hold. With so many task being depended on IoT its allied devices, they have made our lives simple and work smoothly. It is expected that by 2020 around 10 billion devices will be connected with each other working together to make our lives and work simple. Whether it is a photocopy machine in your office or a coffee maker in your house, everything is an example of how important the IoT enabled devices have become in our lives. Not on this, they have completely redefined the way work was done.

Basics of IoT:

IoT or Internet of things is a buzz word, primarily because of its strong influence in our day today lives. Let’s understand what is this IoT; basically, IoT or Internet of Things is a development of internet in which objects that we use in our daily lives are connected with each other, they perform a set of task in a defied time by sending and receiving the data.

The four key elements responsible for successful functioning of Internet of things include the following:

  • Sensing: the first step for functioning of IoT is a point of activity where the information gets gathered, it can be a biometric, biological, environmental, visual or audible device.
  • Communication : IoT works on flow of data between devices, the channel which promotes communication include any of the following
  1. WiFi
  2. WAN
  3. Bluetooth
  4. Zigbee, etc.
  • Cloud-based capture and consolidation: Gathered data is transmitted to a cloud-based service where the information gets processed by the receiving IoT device.
  • Delivery of Information: This is the final step where the information gets delivered to the device to perform a particular task.

Examples of leading influence of Internet of Things in our lives:

Whether it is work, business, education or daily needs, Internet of Things has carved a niche for itself making it an integral part of functioning of all the devices that makes our lives easy.

Here are a few examples of IoT being used in different sectors :

  • Smart homes- such homes have devices which are interconnected with each other, some of the examples include, the automatic room temperature control system. lighting system, security system etc.
  • Smart health wearables like wristwatches which indicate your heart rate, blood pressure, insulin level etc.
  • Health care devices, hearing aid, pacemakers etc, are few examples of growing importance of IoT in redefining the health care sector
  • examples of internet of things applications for smart cities include, automated transportation, smart surveillance, automated energy management system and environment monitoring.
  • The automated cars, parking assistance, infotainment system are some examples of IoT in the automobile sector.
  • Drone technology is another example of Internet of Things.

The future :

The Internet of Things holds strong prospects of growth and development in the coming time. The innovation that IoT has brought has set revolutionary patterns and will continue to do so, with more development in technology and emphasis on creating devices that can simplify lives, Internet of Things is surely going to soar heights in the near future.

Our Role:

Bytesplay believes in matching with the pace of time and hence we have concentrated our R&D division’s work to decipher new avenues of application of Internet of Things and at the same time we are working on improving the current products. Internet of Things is the next big thing and the company which wants to succeed in this world of competition should focus on using IoT optimally.
